Tanuja Samarth is a movie actress from India, most of whom work in the Hindi film business and is well known as the Tanuja. She belonged to the Mukherjee-Samarth family and was married to a filmmaker, Shomu Mukherjee, with whom she had two daughters, actress Kajol and Tanisha, actress Shobhna Samarth and producer Kumarsen Samarth  The two Filmfare Awards recipients.
